Hours: Part time, 20 hours a week
Salary: $20/hr.
Job Overview: Bethlehem Lutheran is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to serve as our Church Office Administrator and Bookkeeper. They will be responsible for providing support by taking care of administrative and clerical tasks, such as managing the church calendar, filing, document management, handling payroll, and various other day-to-day office tasks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Preparation and production of weekly bulletin, annual report, Baptismal and Confirmation certificates.
- Assist Pastor in preparation and production of weekly email announcements and quarterly newsletter.
- Management of the church records and church calendar
- Answering and making calls, sending, and replying to emails.
- Maintenance of church office and supplies.
- Process payroll for church staff
- Prepare financial statements and reports for the church
- Assist with banking and financial record-keeping
- Other day-to-day office tasks
