Altar Guild members prepare, set up, and clean up communion for Sunday worship. This is a role that those with the spiritual gift of hospitality excel at. Altar guild is key in helping the communion meal be served to all.
Communion Assitant
Communion assistants help distribute Holy Communion with the Pastor by serving the wine. They also serve communion to the Pastor after all have been fed.
Usher
Ushers welcome everyone who walks through the doors and offers them a bulletin. They also collect offering and dismiss the congregation for communion. Ushers help to ensure a smooth flow to worship.
Reader
Readers help to proclaim the Word of God by reading the first and second reading from the pulpit.
Acolyte
Our confirmation students fill the role of acolyte for worship. They are the bearers of the light, bringing the light of Christ into our worship space and back out into the world. They also assist with offering.
